I will be adding recipes to this section as I come across really good ones – and there are a lot of them out there! I plan to only add recipes that I have actually tried myself so that I can personally vouch for their yumminess! One of the things I find lacking on a lot of recipes in the nutritional information. I will always include the amounts of fat, protein and net carb content per serving for any recipe I share.
So now on to the good stuff! I thought I would start this section off with a simple recipe I put together myself for a homemade Ranch dressing. I for one eat a LOT of salads, so having a delicious dressing to put on them was high on my priority list. I hope you enjoy it!
1/2 cup Chosen Foods Traditional Avocado Mayo (or you can use regular mayo)
1/2 cup full fat sour cream
2 T Original Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 T finely chopped green onions
1 T dried dill (use 2 T if you are using fresh dill)
1 T dried parsley (or 2 T fresh)
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
4 T pickle juice (Optional but delicious! You can add more or less to taste and to adjust the thickness of your dressing, or you can just use additional almond milk.)
salt and ground black pepper to taste
Combine all the ingredients together and mix well. This dressing is delicious right away, but for best results refrigerate for at least a few hours so the flavors really have time to meld. Enjoy!
